Walking to Bolderāja

As part of our residency with A Structure Envisioned For Changing Circumstances, we performed an urban hike from the center of Riga to the outlying neighborhood of Bolderāja. This walk was an homage to NSRD (Nepatiesas ziņas par Rīdzeni un Daugavu, or "False News About Riga and the Daugava"), a Latvian experimental band that was active in the 1980s. I misused an app that stitches scenes together to make a "clone" of yourself, to shoot this video on July 14, 2022. We walked about 14 miles, through sun and rain, to the coast by dusk. We caught a car back to Bolderāja (a bar in Riga named after the legendary performances), just in time to give a casual lecture and present this video.
